My husband and I love to travel, along with our passion for gourmet cooking, photography, kayaking and the great outdoors. We both look forward to welcoming you to our special part of the world.
First and foremost, we are committed to providing you with exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable accommodations, whether your travel is for business or family pleasure.
Great year round temperatures offer a multitude of things for you to see and do here in the Cowichan Valley.
Chilled bottled water, coffee, tea and snacks will be waiting for you upon arrival.
Your fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare your own breakfasts or other meals. Take advantage of the wonderful food available from out local farms, vineyards and markets.
About the Area
Our home is located in a new oceanside neighbourhood. Maple Bay Marina is steps away with boating, fishing trips, and kayaking. We are also close to many hiking and mountain biking trails at Mt. Tzhouhalem, Maple Mountain, and Stoney Hill.
We are very central for visiting the towns of Cowichan Bay, Chemainus, Ladysmith, Crofton, Saltspring Island (via ferry or floatplane) and cities of Victoria and Nanaimo. Two pubs (one within walking distance) fine dining restaurants, boutique shops and the famous Saturday Farmers Market in downtown Duncan are all just minutes from our front door.
There are many local farms selling a bounty of fresh produce and eggs. Wineries are plentiful here. Explore Maple Bay beach in the summertime for swimming, boating, kayaking and whale watching from nearby Cowichan Bay.
Maple Bay Rowing Club is also at the beach. Quamichan Lake will be the home to the Canadian National Rowing Team.
When driving to our home, especially at night, please watch out for the local resident deer on Genoa Bay Road.
Getting Here
Harbour Air Float Plane service offers 4 daily trips to Saltspring Island, Vancouver airport or to downtown Vancouver.

Getting Around
Public Transportation is available approximately 1 km away. The 11 km trip from Duncan is 15 min by bus or 10 min by car. Rental cars are available in the town of Duncan.
Maple Bay Marina Shipyard pub/restaurant and Bird’s Eye Cove Marina is within walking distance.
Maple Bay beach is 1 km away.
